Job summary

FourLeaf Federal Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Lending Indirect Underwriter in Bethpage, NY. The role focuses on evaluating loan applications for indirect channels, analyzing credit reports and financial data to determine creditworthiness, and ensuring compliance with policies and risk controls.

Hours are Monday–Friday 9:00am–6:00pm with one Saturday per month; flexible options include hybrid or remote work, depending on needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Consumer Underwriting, Consumer Lending, or a related field.
• Experience collaborating with dealers is preferable.
• Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and lending regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Loan Applications: evaluate credit reports, financial documents to determine repayment ability.
• Collaborate with underwriting, sales, and management to ensure a smooth loan process.
• Provide loan approval/denial recommendations to Loan Review Committee or Underwriting Manager.
