Mid American Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Lending Associate to support indirect auto lending. The role involves evaluating applications, gathering documents, and ensuring compliance with underwriting standards.

The candidate will communicate with auto dealers, expand relationships, and stay updated on policy changes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Education - High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including preparatory positions.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Outlook, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Organizational skills.
• Positive, professional demeanor and punctuality.

Responsabilidades

• Make sound lending decisions based on underwriting policies and documentation requirements.
• Communicate effectively with indirect auto dealers throughout loan process.
• Develop and expand relationships with current and potential indirect dealers.
• Obtain information and documentation as needed to build solid auto loans.
• Build lending process knowledge and stay up-to-date on policy changes as it pertains to the role.
• Attend lending trainings as necessary or as assigned by leadership.
• Complete required annual training regarding AML, Fraud, BSA, etc.
