Job summary

Maricopa County Public Health is seeking an Indigent Decedent Coordinator to collaborate with multiple entities and vendors to determine indigent services eligibility and ensure timely disposition services in compliance with Arizona statutes and policies. The role requires coordinating intake, referrals, and program documentation while guiding applicants and stakeholders.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with post-secondary education substituting for experience where applicable.

Qualifications

Three years of experience performing responsible clerical or administrative duties.
High School Diploma or GED; post-secondary education may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

Determine indigent services eligibility in compliance with statutes and codes.
Coordinate disposition services and ensure timely processing.
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to guide program eligibility.
Oversee intake, referrals, and program documentation.
Assist with information from outside resources and provide guidance to applicants.
