Job summary

MIXTECO INDIGENA COMMUNITY ORGANIZING PROJECT seeks a Program Coordinator for MICOP’s OFY-RR Funds Project in Oxnard. You will lead the OFY team, provide trauma-informed guidance, and ensure culturally responsive support to Indigenous and immigrant youth and their sponsors.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating services, and partnering with community resources to meet program goals. Fluency in English and Spanish is highly valued, and occasional evenings/weekends may be

Qualifications

Experience supervising paid staff or coaching.
Experience in case management, youth services, community organizing, or working with immigrant/Indigenous communities is highly desired.
Proven ability to prioritize workload, collaborate, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and supervise MICOP's OFY-RR Funds Project staff in Ventura County.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to OFY staff in delivering services using trauma-informed approaches.
Monitor case management activities, documentation, referrals, and follow-up to ensure participant needs are met.
Identify and partner with local community resource providers and maintain community relationships.
Coordinate and assist in designing workshops, series, and reunions for youth and sponsors.
Collaborate with MICOP’s immigrant legal services team to ensure referrals and support.
