Job summary

The Mixteco/Indígena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) in Oxnard seeks a Program Manager for the OFY-RR Funds Project. You will plan outreach, workshops, referrals, and follow-up with Indigenous migrant families in Ventura County, and supervise project staff.

You will maintain data and report to grantors while coordinating community efforts. Role requires collaboration with CDSS, development of outreach materials, and leadership of meetings on immigration topics.

Qualifications

• BA in Psychology or related humanities degree or experience in mental health or immigration sector.
• Minimum two years of data collection experience.
• Experience supervising and managing a professional team.
• Experience in advocacy for migrant rights.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand unaccompanied minors, legal, and immigration systems in Ventura County.
• Coordinate work and communicate with CDSS.
• Oversee the work of coordinators and caseworkers and ensure workshops/outreach/referrals are executed.
• Create outreach plans for team members and update flyers/brochures as needed.
• Coordinate and facilitate monthly meetings and training on immigration and legal topics.
• Support team in outreach, workshops, and referral services to outside agencies.
• Plan space requirements and manage reporting for grantors.
• Manage data input for the project and track activities.
