Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus two years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience in youth development/youth services with proven ability to engage and motivate youth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the social, educational, cultural and economic development and needs of urban American Indians.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and collaborate with PIC team members, school representatives, and community partners on program goals.
  • Serve as a lead facilitator/presenter of provided curricula.
  • Document and maintain youth participant records and prepare required reports.
  • Plan, implement, and staff youth programming including events.
  • Recruit and retain youth participants and build positive relationships with youth and families.
