Job summary

Springfield Public Schools in Oregon seeks a Native American Youth Coordinator (part-time, 6.5 hours/day) to support Native students K-12 at the Chifin Native Youth Center. Qualifications

• Associates degree or the equivalent AND two years of experience working with Native students and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Title VI programs and initiatives in compliance with laws and district policy.
• Recruit and verify qualifying Native students; collect data for program assessment.
• Support Native students' academic and cultural needs to raise achievement.
• Develop recruitment materials and communicate with families and students.
• Collaborate with staff to support Native student organizations and program needs.
