Qualifications

• A registered Professional Engineers license in Indiana is required.
• Eight (8) years of experience in engineering, civil engineering, transportation research, or a closely related field may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops policies and procedures for the control of highway construction contract administration activities.
• Provides technical construction expertise in areas such as Contract Administration, Construction Contract Claims, Earthwork, Pavements, Structures, Hydraulics, Environmental and Traffic.
• Assists in statewide control and supervision of construction contracts.
• Reviews construction contracts for compliance with policies, standards and specifications.
• Prepares reports and training documents related to highway construction activities.
