Job summary

PHI Health, LLC is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our Indiana base as a flight/transport clinician. You will provide safe, comprehensive pre-hospital care and participate in inter-facility transports, following flight nursing protocols and medical direction.

You must hold an active RN license in Indiana, possess critical care experience, and maintain required certifications. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Indiana.
• Minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) of current critical care/emergency experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS certifications.
• CFRN within twenty-four months of hire; flight/transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies and emergency treatment of patients transported by rotor-wing, fixed wing, and ground transports.
• Documents appropriate and accurate information for assessment and treatment during stabilization and transport.
• Documents accurate and complete billing information of patient transports.
• Maintains and facilitates effective communication between management, internal and external customers.
• Completes annual recurrent competency requirements.
