Job summary

PHI Health in West Lafayette, IN seeks a Flight Clinician to provide safe, comprehensive care for critically ill or injured patients during pre-hospital and transport missions. You will operate under flight nursing protocols, ensuring rapid response and high-level medical transport.

The role requires an active Indiana RN license, 3–5 years of critical care experience, and certifications including BLS/ACLS/PALS with TNATC/TNCC/ITLS or PHTLS.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in the employing state.
• Minimum of three years (five preferred) of critical care/emergency experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNATC, TNCC, ITLS or PHTLS; NRP preferred; instructor certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized assessments, diagnoses, therapies and emergency treatment for transported patients.
• Document accurate assessment and treatment information and billing details.
• Maintain communication between management and internal/external stakeholders.
• Maintain flight nursing knowledge through meetings, drills and continuing education.
• Complete annual recurrent competency requirements.
• Operate under Medical Director protocols and guidance.
