Job summary

Savvas Learning Company seeks a part-time Field Sales Specialist to support sales in Indiana, with on-site customer meetings required within the state. The role emphasizes relationship-building with K-12 educators and decision makers, leveraging prior classroom or curriculum experience.

You will assist Account Managers, plan strategic sales calls, and help prepare conference materials while traveling within the Midwest market as needed.

Qualifications

• BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• K-12 classroom or curriculum experience preferred.
• Experience in a sales-driven, quality-oriented organization preferred.
• Proven experience networking with and influencing decision makers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Computer skills with knowledge of Google Drive, Word, and Excel.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements project components under the direction of the local Account Manager.
• Oversees marketing material-related projects for an Account Manager or Market Manager.
• Strategically plans sales calls with objectives and steps from the Account Manager.
• Participates in customer calls to assist with a sale.
• Performs outreach calls to follow up on delivery or answer questions.
• Responds to customer requests with timely, professional responses.
• Prepares materials for conferences, meetings, or events.
• Assists with pre-presentation activities and transport of materials.
