Job summary

Amperos is seeking an HR & People Operations Lead to build and run the people function for our India team. You’ll own recruiting coordination, offers, onboarding, documentation, compliance, and payroll administration, becoming the first HR contact for India-based employees and collaborating with US leadership.

You will implement structured onboarding, engagement touchpoints, leave and conduct policies, and a feedback channel to reduce attrition.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in HR operations, people operations, or HR generalist roles supporting an India-based team, with hands-on payroll and onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting coordination, offers, onboarding, documentation, compliance, and payroll administration.
• Own end-to-end onboarding from offer to 90 days, ensuring access, equipment, and a clear plan.
• Manage payroll monthly, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain employee documentation and build records in our platform.
• Run structured check-ins and surface feedback to leadership.
