Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering is expanding its Quality Control team with experienced QC Specialists. In this role you will witness inspections and testing activities to ensure compliance with codes and customer specs.

You will verify calibration, ensure technician certifications are current, and produce clear inspection reports for informed decision-making. As the Customer Representative, you will liaise with Suppliers on scheduling, deliveries, and overall execution, while promoting safe work

Qualifications

• Current CWI certification required.
• 5+ years shop inspection experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly).
• Knowledge of API, ASNT, ASME, NACE, DS-1, etc. quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per inspection test plans and quality plans.
• Verify inspection, measurement, and test equipment is calibrated and certified.
• Validate technician certification(s) are current for scope of activity.
• Act as Customer Representative with Suppliers on scheduling, deliveries and execution.
• Generate reports documenting rejection and acceptance of inspections and testing activities.
• Communicate inspection results to project coordinators and stakeholders; ensure HSSE compliance.
