Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions in Macon, GA, is seeking a Contract Forester/Utility Forester to join our outdoor vegetation management team. The role focuses on field patrols, site documentation, and collaborating with clients to ensure safe, compliant vegetation work.

You will perform pre-patrol prep, assess risks, engage landowners, and support storm and emergency responses. Requires forestry/related degree or equivalent experience, GIS and MS Office familiarity, and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience in forestry or natural resources.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture, or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification and basic computer tools.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Patrol Preparation: organize records, maps, and paperwork; review work sites for endangered species and habitats.
