Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions is seeking a Contract/Consulting Utility Forester for a coastal assignment in Statesboro, GA. The role focuses on field vegetation management, surveying energy corridors, and implementing ISA pruning techniques per client standards.

The candidate will engage with landowners, conduct risk assessments, and maintain safety compliance. Requirements include forestry-related education, tree identification knowledge, GIS and MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Patrol preparation: organize records, maps, and paperwork.
• Patrol energy corridors on foot and identify vegetation work per standards.
• Classify work, apply herbicide, and conduct Tree Risk Assessments.
• Engage with landowners and agencies to obtain permissions.
• Ensure safety and compliance with AMS practices.
