ArborMetrics Solutions is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester in Milledgeville, GA to perform field patrols, vegetation management, and stakeholder engagement for utility corridors. The role emphasizes safety, ISA principles, and adaptive problem solving in outdoor settings.

The position requires forestry education or equivalent experience, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to work independently, with company vehicle, benefits, and ongoing training provided.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification and GIS/ Microsoft Office tools.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience with GIS software/technology, Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.

Aufgaben

• Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits; maintain accurate documentation.
• Review work sites for endangered species, sensitive habitats, and incompatible vegetation.
• Safely patrol energy corridors on foot; identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection.
• Classify prescribed work and use of herbicide; conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Mark vegetation and prescribe clearance actions per Client directives; follow ISA pruning techniques.
