Job summary

Prisma International, a language services provider, seeks expert-level translator contractors to join our independent contractor team. You will translate written content from English into your native language, with editing and proofreading.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of professional translation experience in health and human services, must use XTM CAT tool, and adhere to our MSA and QA workflows. Remote candidates welcome; ability to work with PC/Mac and Adobe Acrobat required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include ATA or DSHS LTC certification, or an academic degree and two years of professional translation experience.
• Must be fluent in English and the target language, and able to work with PC and MAC formats including MS Word, PDFs with fillable fields, rich text, and XML/text blocks.

Responsibilities

• Provide human-written translations using a CAT tool (XTM provided).
• Edit and proofread translations to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Adhere to project instructions, glossaries and reference materials.
• Deliver completed work by deadlines and budgets.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
