Job summary

Prisma International is seeking US-based professional legal translators to join our independent contractor team. You will translate, edit and proofread from English into your target language, using XTM CAT tools provided by us.

Project assignments are on an as-needed basis according to your availability. Requirements include ATA or DSHS LTC certification, two years of court translation experience, and fluency in English and the target language.

Qualifications

• Must hold ATA or DSHS LTC certification in the target language pair.
• Two years of experience translating for U.S. state courts or judicial offices.
• Fluent in English and the target language; strong knowledge of legal terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide human-written translations using CAT tools (XTM provided).
• Edit and proofread translations to ensure accuracy and court-appropriate style.
• Deliver high-quality translations within deadlines and project budgets.
