Job summary

Public Storage is seeking Property Managers who operate independently at multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors. They assess customer storage needs and suggest packing and moving supplies to maximize rentals.

Ideal candidates come from customer service or sales backgrounds, can travel between sites with a valid driver's license, perform daily inspections and cash handling, and assist customers with timely payments. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability helps make sure spaces are ready to rent.
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits are part of the daily business.
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
