Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Property Manager to work independently across multiple locations, performing indoor and outdoor duties and ensuring spaces are ready to rent. You will assess customer storage needs and upsell packing supplies, conduct daily inspections, and manage cash handling, deposits, and payment reminders.

Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel between sites; strong sales and customer service skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates come from customer service oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based roles.
• Experience in handling customer payments and upselling products is helpful.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make recommendations, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Perform daily inspections of storage units to ensure inventory and availability for rent.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Keep customers current with payments and perform reminder/collection calls when needed.
• Work at multiple locations, with a mix of indoor/outdoor duties and travel between sites.
