Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Jefferson, NC to join as an Independent Contractor. The role blends ongoing store support with project-based merchandising, offering flexibility and direct impact on brand presentation.

You will stock and merchandise, ensure planogram compliance, report results via mobile tools, and collaborate with store teams to execute displays and promotions. Prior retail/merchandising experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the retail environment for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Smartphones are required for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision and attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports, including photos and detailed feedback, using mobile reporting tools.
• Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Maintain a high level of quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
