Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser to provide in-store stock support and project-based merchandising across assigned locations. This independent contractor role offers hands-on merchandising, relationship-building with store teams, and the chance to influence customer experiences through quality execution.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, can work autonomously, and is comfortable using reporting tools on mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organization, time management, and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for merchandising and visual presentation.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, or consumer packaged goods preferred.
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Planogram experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision and attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports, including photos and detailed feedback, using mobile reporting tools.
• Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Maintain a high level of quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
