Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work with some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands on a project basis.

Assignments typically range from 12-20 hours per month, designed to fit your schedule. Travel to various retail locations is common, with daily reporting via mobile tools and prompt completion of project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Must have reliable transportation between locations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
