Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers with a focus on high-quality retail execution.

Assignments typically range 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring work during the first two weeks of each month. Travel between retail sites is expected as needed, and reporting is done via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and executing planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
• Reliable transportation for travel between retail locations.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and approved.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
