Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible schedule with projects ranging from 12-20 hours per month, serving major retailers and brands.

You’ll review client instructions, execute merchandising tasks, and report results via mobile devices from various locations. Ideal candidates have merchandising or retail experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
