Job summary

SFS is growing and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible, supplemental income by servicing major retailers and brands with project-based pay.

Assignments vary from merchandising, product resets, audits, and display maintenance to stock management and POP installations, typically 12-20 hours per month across retailer locations. Some sites may require service in the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, audits, or customer service preferred.
• Read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
