Job summary

NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is seeking a Mortgage Field Inspector to join our team in Reed City, MI. This is a contractor position where you work independently to perform residential property inspections and verify occupancy status.

You will use inspection software to document findings, take photos, and report results. Travel to nearby counties may be required; compensation is hourly with a flexible schedule and autonomous work environment.

• Reliable transportation
• Experience in Default Mortgage Inspections
• Experience with InspectorADE
• Effective communication
• Ability to work independently, without supervision, to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections to ensure occupancy status
• Deliver delinquency letters and conduct insurance inspections
• Utilize inspection software to document and report findings
• Take photos of properties and deliver documents as needed
• Complete inspections within designated timelines and meet performance metrics
• Communicate with account manager professionally
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections
• Maintain professionalism at all times
• Travel to Reed City, MI and surrounding counties as needed
