NORTHERN OHIO FIELD SERVICES (NOFS) in Salem, OH is seeking an experienced Mortgage Inspector to perform residential property inspections to confirm occupancy status. This contractor role operates with independence and meets designated timelines, with schedule set by you.

Responsibilities include documenting findings with inspection software, taking photos, delivering reports, and maintaining records while adhering to industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Default Mortgage Inspections
• Experience with InspectorADE
• Effective Communication
• Ability to work independently, without supervision, to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Must be willing to obtain industry required Shieldhub/ABC background check

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections to ensure occupancy status, deliver delinquency letters, conduct insurance inspections
• Utilize inspection software and tools to document and report findings
• Take photos of properties and deliver documents as needed
• Complete inspections within designated timelines and meet performance metrics
• Communicate with account manager in a professional manner
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Drivers License, insurance and reliable transportation. Must pass background check to obtain Aspen Grove number, not reimbursed.
• Prefer 6 months in the inspections field, or working as a 1099 employee
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Proficient with technology and able to learn new software and tools quickly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel to various properties in Salem, OH and potentially other surrounding counties.
