Job summary

NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is seeking an experienced Mortgage Inspector to join our growing team in Indiana. As a Mortgage Inspector, you will conduct residential property inspections to verify occupancy status and document findings for loan-related purposes.

This contractor position offers a per-inspection fee, flexible scheduling, and working independently. Travel to properties in English, IN and nearby counties is required, along with reliable transportation and ability to pass a

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Experience in default mortgage inspections.
• Experience with InspectorADE.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Willing to undergo background checks (Shieldhub/ABC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections to ensure occupancy status, deliver delinquency letters, conduct insurance inspections.
• Utilize inspection software and tools to document and report findings.
• Take photos of properties and deliver documents as needed.
• Complete inspections within designated timelines and meet performance metrics.
• Communicate with account manager in a professional manner.
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Travel to various properties in English, IN and potentially other surrounding counties.
