Malama Health is expanding its doula provider network in Minnesota and seeks experienced birth doulas to support Medicaid members. As an independent contractor, you will handle your own practice while Malama supports enrollment, credentialing, and billing.

Provide prenatal, labor/birth, and postpartum support, with culturally responsive care. You will coordinate with Malama’s care team and comply with privacy and payer requirements. Flexible, community-focused opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experienced birth doula practicing in Minnesota.
• Approved for the Minnesota Doula Registry, or eligible and willing to complete the registration process.
• Willing to complete Minnesota Medicaid and health-plan enrollment and credentialing requirements.
• Experience providing prenatal, labor/birth, and postpartum support.
• Be a people person and team player; Be the Bridge value.

• Deep ties to and/or lived experience in the communities you serve.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-clinical prenatal, labor/birth, and postpartum doula support.
• Provide culturally responsive emotional, informational, and physical support aligned with each member’s preferences and needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services.
• Follow applicable privacy, documentation, quality, and payer requirements.
• Coordinate with Malama’s care team when a member needs support outside the doula scope of practice.
• Experience birth doula practicing in Minnesota.
• Approved for Minnesota Doula Registry, or eligible and willing to complete the registration process.
• Willing to complete applicable Minnesota Medicaid and health-plan enrollment and credentialing requirements.
• Experience providing prenatal, labor/birth, and postpartum support.
