Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Commercial and Personal Lines loss control inspectors as independent contractors. You will perform interior and/or exterior inspections, produce detailed reports, and upload them via a cloud system.

Flexible schedule and weekly payments upon order completion are offered, with a requirement for essential equipment and a reliable vehicle. Billing is per inspection with no guaranteed assignments; background checks and a resume are required.

Qualifications

• Preferably one year’s experience completing interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports and 3 to 5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet access.
• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable car with ability to cover a wide territory on an as needed basis, if required.
• Must have a digital camera and a measuring wheel or similar device.
• Must have a camera pole up to 12 ft and a measuring tool for P.L. work.

Responsabilités

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document any hazards/controls that are found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
• Become familiar with client specific guidelines.
• Communicate as needed with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
