Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Commercial & Personal Insurance Loss Control Consultants to join as independent contractors. You will conduct interior and/or exterior inspections in your coverage area, with no license required, using your own equipment and a cloud‑based reporting system.

Fees are paid per inspection and dispatched weekly upon satisfactory completion. You will set site visits, measure buildings, photograph properties, and produce detailed reports for

Qualifications

• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high‑speed internet access.
• Reliable car with ability to cover a wide territory as needed.
• Possess a digital camera and measuring tools for fieldwork.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments via email and/or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document any hazards/controls at the property.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud‑based system by the deadline.
• Become familiar with client specific guidelines.
• Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds as needed.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
