Job summary

Underwriter Services Association Inc. seeks experienced loss control consultants for independent contractor work. You will perform interior and exterior inspections, measure buildings, take photos, and prepare detailed reports for a nationwide client network.

Must supply your own gear, vehicle, and reliable internet access to operate efficiently within assigned territories. Appointments are set mutually with property contacts; reports are submitted through a cloud system and paid weekly on order

Qualifications

• 1 year of interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports.
• 3–5 years of commercial loss control assignments.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own a Windows 10 computer and reliable internet.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, with flexible schedule.
• Reliable car and willingness to cover a wide territory as needed.
• Digital camera and measuring tools; familiarity with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent.
• Conduct physical inspections of properties as required.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls.
• Complete on-site management interviews.
• Upload reports/photos via cloud system by deadline.
• Adhere to client-specific guidelines and communicate with involved parties.
