Underwriter Services Association seeks experienced Commercial Lines Loss Control Consultants to perform inspections and consultative visits in the San Diego area. The role is a 1099 contract, paid per inspection or hourly, with weekly payments after report submission.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of loss control experience, strong communication, and own equipment. Bilingual ability is a plus; background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience completing property and casualty loss control surveys and reports.
• Understanding of general liability and property coverages.
• Knowledge of commercial auto, workers compensation, and inland marine lines preferred.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own a computer and digital camera for on-site work.
• Reliable vehicle and flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and phone.
• Conduct on-site property inspections within assigned territory.
• Take digital photos of properties.
• Identify hazards/controls and document findings.
• Complete on-site interviews and gather property information.
• Upload reports and photos to cloud-based system.
• Complete required online training and adhere to company policies.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
