Job summary

UCP Oregon is seeking two Supported Living Specialists to help adults with developmental disabilities live independently in their own homes. You’ll support daily living, assist with personal care, and participate in community activities to help clients achieve personal goals.

You’ll work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with on-call duties 35 days per year and overtime pay for hours over 40.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Be able to transport clients in your car: must have a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, at least two years of driving experience, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Pass a reference check, a physical with a lifting test of 50 lbs, and a criminal history background check.
• Experience in developmental disability field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help adults who experience developmental disabilities live independently in their own houses and apartments.
• Work one-on-one with clients to build real relationships.
• Assist with everyday tasks, personal care, and community activities.
• Be on-call for 35 days per year with overtime pay for hours worked over 40 in a week.
