Job summary

UCP Oregon is seeking a full-time Personal Assistant to support a woman with developmental disabilities in SE Portland. You’ll help with daily living, personal care, and community activities such as movies or dining out, while fostering independence and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Be able to pass pre-hiring screenings and background checks.
• Experience in developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and tidy the apartment daily.
• Assist with showering, dressing, eating, and adaptive equipment.
• Manage health care needs including medication administration.
• Join client in community activities and arrange at-home arts and crafts.
