Job summary

DABS, Inc. in Burlingame, CA seeks Direct Support Professionals in Personal Attendant (PA) or Skills Instructor (SI) roles to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

As a PA, you will supervise health and safety, assist with ADLs, medications, and transportation, and document progress. As an SI, you will teach independent living skills, support routines, and foster community participation.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in home and community settings.
• Supervise medication administration when needed and transport to appointments.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes per DDS/Regional Center requirements.
• Teach independent living skills and support engagement in community activities.
