DABS, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals in California to empower adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will join two tracks—Personal Attendant and Skills Instructor—final assignment depends on program needs and your experience.

We offer $17.00–$25.00 per hour with weekly pay, plus healthcare benefits and paid sick leave. Employment requires background check, CPR/First Aid, a valid CA driver’s license, and TB clearance.

Formación

• TB clearance in accordance with California guidelines.
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation if transporting individuals.
• 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and implement established care plans.

Responsabilidades

• Provide consistent, person-centered supervision within the individual’s home and community.
• Supervise activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with transportation to medical and personal appointments and accompany individuals as needed.
• Monitor and report health, behavior, and environmental changes to the supervisor.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes in compliance with DDS and agency standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and other activities as needed.
