DABS, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals in California to support adults with disabilities in home and community settings. Two tracks are available: Personal Attendant (PA) and Skills Instructor (SI). Final assignment depends on program needs and availability.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and implement care plans.
• Ability to maintain professional ethics, including punctual attendance.
• Ability to communicate clearly and document observations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision within the individual’s home and community.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, meals, and light housekeeping.
• Supervise medication administration when needed.
• Transport individuals to medical and personal appointments as required.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes per DDS and agency standards.
