Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in‑home and in‑community support to individuals with disabilities. You will drive to assignments using your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement, to help them pursue independence in daily living.

This full‑time role includes assisting with personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and documenting progress. You will participate in team meetings and support plans, helping people reach personal goals with respect and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (or 21, depending on person-served)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and auto liability insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Associates in relevant field OR two years' equivalent experience
• Willing to drive a 30‑mile radius
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals 1:1 in‑home and in‑community to pursue independence
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, laundry
• Maintain a clean, safe space and support personal goals
• Provide skill development in community participation, health, safety and wellness, and adaptive skills
• Attend team meetings, write progress reports, and support consistency in service
• Coach, mentor, and encourage individuals to reach their goals
