Job summary

Dungarvin is recruiting for a position that blends in-home and in-community support to help individuals maintain and increase independence. The role requires driving to shifts, transporting clients, and mileage reimbursement is offered. Full-time schedules run 9am–7pm and may adjust to client needs.

You will work 1:1 with individuals, assisting with daily activities, personal care, and independence-building tasks while documenting progress and collaborating with a support team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, auto liability insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Education, training, or two years equivalent experience with developmentally disabled and/or mental illness as determined by supervisor.
• Must be flexible and a team player with strong communication to document care and follow support plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in 1:1 in-home and in-community settings to promote independence.
• Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Maintain a clean, safe space and support personal goals.
• Provide skill development in community participation, health, safety, wellness, and adaptive skills.
• Attend team meetings, write progress reports, and assist supervisors in maintaining consistency of service.
