Job summary

The Bindu Institute, LLC is seeking a Life Skills Coach to work in a community-based setting, supporting individuals with brain injury or neurological conditions. You will help clients acquire and improve skills for independent living and accessing community resources.

Key duties include advocacy, decision-support, daily routine structure, and facilitating social activities with transportation assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or physical disabilities preferred.
• Must have reliable computer or device for documentation; MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat required.
• BS/BA in related field OR 1–2 years’ experience with adults who are developmentally disabled or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides positive support and advocates for the client.
• Assists with identifying choices and informed decision-making.
• Supports household management and safe routines.
• Facilitates participation in recreation and community activities to build social connections.
• Provides transportation and assists with community living and integration activities.
