Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Research Associate for the Lab Sciences team in Everett, WA. You will work independently in day-to-day laboratory operations and collect and review data for the Laboratory Sciences department.

You will support ligand binding, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and LCMS/MS as needed, and help create study worksheets and SOPs. The role requires 1–3 years of lab experience, an associate degree in a scientific discipline (Bachelor's preferred), and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in scientific discipline or equivalent education and laboratory experience preferred
• 1-3 years relevant laboratory experience
• Basic to intermediate computer skills

Responsibilities

• Laboratory Maintenance (cleaning, ordering supplies, equipment PM, etc.).
• Collect and organize laboratory data according to the appropriate oversight document (ex: Protocol, Analytical Study Plan, SOPs).
• Create and/or revise SOP and SOP forms.
• Work independently in study-related tasks.
• Perform quality control review of laboratory and study records.
• Assist with method development activities.
