Job summary

Altasciences seeks an Associate Scientist to provide technical leadership in biomarker, pharmacokinetic, and ligand assay areas. You will plan and execute projects, acquiring facilities, equipment, and procedures for research efforts.

Under supervision, you will analyze study data for GLP and non-GLP preclinical studies, review molecular biology data, and write/peer-review protocols, SOPs, and data reports. You will assist with new assays and respond to client inquiries.

Qualifications

• BS with 3 years or MS with 1 year or PhD in related field.
• Experience with immunology, molecular biology, and/or cell biology/biochemistry/chemistry assays.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, study documents, and write technical documents.
• Strong technical writing and oral communication for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with GLP and analytical equipment such as chromatography, Luminex, RT-PCR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain study conduct according to GLP regulations and SOPs.
• Analyze study data and compile reports for GLP and non-GLP preclinical studies.
• Collect and review molecular biology data per PI and SOPs.
• Write and peer review protocols, SOPs, validation plans, and data reports.
• Assist with development and implementation of new assays and projects.
• Respond to client inquiries about scientific aspects of projects.
