Job summary

Altasciences in Everett, WA is seeking a detail-oriented junior formulation technician to support GLP studies. You will prepare, sample, and dispense dose formulations, receive test materials, and maintain documentation and chain of custody for study materials.

This role requires a BS in a scientific discipline or equivalent, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• BS in a scientific discipline, or relevant work experience.
• 0-1 years in a regulated environment; equivalent education/experience may substitute.
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong reasoning ability
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment
• Ability to work with a diverse group in a fast-paced environment
• Cross-functional process improvement experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sample, and dispense complex dose formulations with guidance.
• Receive test materials, review, and reconcile receipt.
• Participate in disposition of formulation and test materials.
• Document and review raw data and maintain study notebooks.
• Review protocols and provide formulation comments.
• Prepare and ship materials as needed.
• Replenish supplies and maintain lab cleanliness.
• Understand and follow GLP.
• May assist in study finalization and inventory in Dispense.
• May cross train to support pharmacy operations; varies by site
• Other duties as assigned.
