We value inspectors who are accurate, responsible, and committed to ongoing learning, with Tennessee licensure and InterNACHI CPI credentials preferred. You must be detail‑oriented, possess a valid driver’s license, and work independently.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tennessee Home Inspector license.
• InterNACHI CPI credential required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physically able to access crawlspaces, attics, roofs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential home inspections according to Tennessee standards of practice and company policies

• Produce clear, thorough digital inspection reports using modern software tools
• Explain findings to clients in a straightforward, approachable manner
• Maintain professionalism and uphold Upchurch Inspection's reputation for honesty, quality, and reliability
• Stay informed on building practices, state regulations, safety protocols, and continuing education
• Represent the company professionally with clients, agents, and at local real estate events
