Job summary

Upchurch Inspection is expanding into North Mississippi and seeks a dependable Home Inspector to cover Tupelo, Oxford, Southaven and surrounding communities. You’ll conduct residential inspections, document findings clearly, and communicate results to clients in a friendly, professional manner.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Mississippi Home Inspector License, InterNACHI CPI, and have strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Mississippi Home Inspector License required
• InterNACHI CPI credential required
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
• Physically able to access attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and other tight or elevated areas

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home inspections according to InterNACHI standards and Mississippi guidelines
• Inspect major systems including structure, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interiors and exteriors
• Produce clear, detailed digital inspection reports using modern inspection software
• Explain findings to clients in an approachable and educational manner
• Maintain professionalism and Upchurch Inspection’s reputation for honesty and quality
• Stay current with building practices, safety protocols and continuing education requirements
• Represent the company professionally during client appointments and local real estate events

Known for delivering thorough, honest, and easy-to-understand home inspections throughout the Mid-South, Upchurch Inspection is looking for an inspection partner to bring that same standard of excellence to Tupelo, Oxford, Southaven, and the surrounding communities.

As a Home Inspector working with Upchurch Inspection, you’ll conduct comprehensive residential inspections, clearly document your findings, and communicate results to clients in a friendly, professional manner.
