Job summary

Periscope is seeking independent consultant therapists to perform one-time in-home medical necessity assessments across diverse communities. You will evaluate homes, determine equipment and care needs, and document findings using a secure online portal.

This is a flexible, independent contractor role with nationwide reach. Qualified therapists hold PT or OT licensure, carry malpractice insurance, and can travel to member homes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/liability insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with technology and online portals.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care.
• Complete documentation through a secure online portal.
