Job summary

The Periscope Group seeks an independent Physical or Occupational Therapist Consultant to conduct one-time in-home medical necessity assessments nationwide. You will assess individuals in their homes and provide equipment and care recommendations to support independence.

Qualifications include active PT/OT licensure, ability to travel to member homes, and tech proficiency with online portals. Compensation ranges per assessment ($135–$200) with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with technology: navigate online portals and upload documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a person’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, services, and care to empower independence.
• Perform one-time medical device training for patients with peripheral neuropathy.
• Complete documentation through our secure online portal from any device.
• Participate in training to become a certified wearable device trainer.
• Educate on use of the device.
