The Periscope Group seeks experienced Physical or Occupational Therapists to perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments in various communities. You will use clinical expertise to assess needs and offer equipment, services, and care recommendations to help clients maintain independence.

As an independent contractor, you can set a schedule within assessment timeframes, with compensation per assessment and potential professional growth through our mentoring program.

Qualificações

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist; PTAs or COTAs not eligible.
• Malpractice/liability insurance (may be obtained after offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with technology: navigate online portals and use a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a patient’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, services, and care to maintain independence.
• Complete documentation through a secure, user-friendly online portal accessible from any device.
